Kicking off 2025, the year I turn 40, with the first post of a daily series (hah!) to capture general activities and musings.
As it is, I’m absolutely knackered today as per usual following a late night beyond the bells for the New Year. We were also invited for dinner at my mum’s house. So I’m suitably stuffed and ready for bed.
That said, briefly, my goal for 2025 is simply to try and establish some healthier habits for my mind and body. Things like:
- Establishing a regular routine for learning German
- Drinking more water and less couch-based boozing
- Being more mindful of the food I put in my body
- Exercise - literally anything
- Proactively advance my career by better understanding how I work best throughout a day
- Be more conscious of my home and caring for it regularly.
So, some lofty ambitions and we’ll see how it goes. Let’s face it, it’ll be a miracle if I do this every day but hopefully most days to give myself an inner accountability and strength.
